Pottery classes wexford

The studio offers pottery classes in Wexford in which you will explore pottery and clay sculpture through hand building techniques.

Beginner pottery classes are carefully structured so that you acquire basic skills in a step-by-step way. Each class builds upon the last, so that you:

• Gain confidence progressively
• Build skills and learn techniques using a step-by-step approach
• Develop your own style

Students are introduced to the basic techniques of coiling, pinching, slabbing and press moulding, clay modelling and clay sculpture. All work is fired and glazed. No previous experience is necessary!

Pottery classes are held at the Open Door Studio just 10 minutes from both Wexford and Enniscorthy towns (see map). 

Pottery at the Open Door Studio are a fun, enjoyable way to learn new skills and to socialise with other like-minded pupils.
